Whitwell Education and Heritage Center is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit founded to preserve the rich history of Whitwell, Tennessee and to provide educational and community resources that connect people of all ages. Our mission is to foster understanding, honor local heritage, and empower future generations through meaningful programs and services.
 

Join us in building a community center that bridges generational gaps, celebrates our collective heritage, and provides essential services for everyone; a center that is a source of pride for our community. By contributing, not only will priceless Holocaust memorabilia be preserved for future generations, but also our coal miners' sacrifices and stories. There will be a library space where knowledge knows no bounds, and a supportive space for senior citizens to socialize and engage in activities. This will also significantly impact the well-being of our local military heroes. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality.
