Orena Humphreys Public Library
Due to the unsafe condition of the building Orena Humphreys Public Library previously occupied, it has been temporarily relocated to its current location. While these accommodations are a vast improvement for the library, the cost of over $3,000/month for rent and utilities presents a new financial challenge for the city. The new space in the center will be a haven for readers and learners of all ages, where knowledge knows no bounds. 

Whitwell Senior Citizens Center
Presently located in the basement of the Whitwell-Marion County Coal Miners Museum, the Senior Citizens Center is severely in need of better accommodations.

Whitwell-Marion County Coal Miners Museum
Located in the former Orena Humphreys Public Library building, the Whitwell-Marion County Coal Miners Museum is also in desperate need of better accommodations. This space is run by retired coal miners and tells the story of underground coal mining - once the primary industry of Marion County. Help us honor the hardworking individuals who shaped our community.

Children's Holocaust Memorial
Whitwell Middle School is currently home to the Children's Holocaust Museum. This is where important and vital memorabilia is held. Your support in this endeavor would mean generations to come will continue to have access to these meaningful records. 

Whitwell Veterans Center
Marion County Veterans Park is an area of the local park dedicated to remembering our veterans. Our new veteran's center will offer crucial resources and a welcoming environment for those who have served our country.
